Hi, I’m Lisa Hayes-Minney

I am an Appalachian writer, soul-searcher, and homesteader. I enjoy working with words, paints, plants, paper, printing, and vintage typewriters. I maintain significantly-sized vegetable, flower, and herb gardens, and process, freeze, and can the vegetables and produce.

I earned my MFA in Creative Writing and hold degrees in English, Journalism, and Liberal Arts. I volunteer to help promote and encourage literary endeavors in West Virginia and I write online at Two-Lane Renaissance.

My written work has also appeared in GreenPrints Magazine, Memoir Magazine, DoveTales Magazine, and in two book collections: “Mountains Upon Mountains: New Appalachian Nature Writing,” and “Feminine Rising: Voices of Power & Invisibility.”
